Spring 2021 update from Brighter IR

23 Apr 2021

I’m fairly certain that I can speak on behalf of the entire Brighter IR team when I say, “Phew! We made it through the first quarter of 2021!”. Huge thanks to the team for their focus, diligence, and perseverance during a busy and challenging time.

We’re still working from home, and while everyone seems happy and settled into this new normal, working remotely can make collaboration and sharing of ideas slightly less tactile and immediate.

We don’t really miss the office as such, but we do miss being able to sit around a table at the start of a project, brainstorming, sketching, scribbling, doodling and just generally exploring ideas and solutions with everyone in the room. As a digital agency we’re used to tools like Zoom, Slack, Teams and Google docs, but they aren’t instant replacements for the vibrancy, atmosphere and buzz we enjoy as a fast-paced creative agency.

Brighter IR saw a huge influx of new clients and project enquiries starting around November last year and we’ve been fully booked ever since.

No complaints, of course, but with everyone in the team – designers, developers, project managers, sales and support – working to multiple deadlines, I’m happy to say that we got through it successfully, have many more happy clients, and lots of new websites to showcase – you can see some examples below.

We’re also fortunate enough to be growing the team, with Riccardo joining us in December. Despite the unusual circumstances of not being able to meet his new colleagues in person, he’s settled in and quickly proven himself to be a vital and talented colleague. We’re also on the cusp of welcoming another front-end developer, and have even more exciting hiring plans in the near future – watch this space!

Showcasing some our recent website launches

In what seemed like a never ending stream of go-lives (including a new record of 8 website launches in as many days!), we delivered and launched everything from new corporate websites, site redesigns, dedicated investor sites, a marketing site, an extranet and hundreds of investor data and tools services, many of which were supporting new listings on AIM as well as the LSE’s main market.

Virgin Wines

Virgin Wines is one of the UK’s largest direct-to-consumer wine retailers with over 160,000 active customers. The company was admitted to AIM on March 2, 2021 (LON:VINO).

In The Style

Since the brand’s launch in 2013, In The Style has developed to become one of the largest pure-play online fashion businesses in the uk. Their admission to AIM on March 15, 2021, was just the next step in their successful journey (LON:ITS).

ActiveOps is a leader in Management Process Automation, providing a SaaS platform to large enterprises with complex and often global back-offices. ActiveOps also listed on AIM on March 29, 2021 (LON:AOM).

Constellation Cold Logistics

Constellation provide mission-critical cold storage and value-added logistics to their customers, ensuring the integrity, safety and efficiency of a wide range of international and local farm-to-fork food supply chains.

Cornerstone FS PLC is a payments focused fintech business, dedicated to removing the complexity of international payments for customers. They listed on the AIM Market on 6 April, 2021 (LON:CSFS).
