Youth Art Connect
Youth Art Connect is a not-for-profit community group, set up in 2021 to introduce the therapeutic benefits of art to young people. They provide regular youth and community groups across Cornwall as well as pop up events throughout the year.
Facing limitations in team size and resources, they sought assistance with their online events system and event organization. Brighter*IR stepped in to provide invaluable support by creating a brand-new website featuring a seamlessly integrated booking system, effectively streamlining the registration process. Recognizing the importance of accessibility for their target audience, the website was designed to be fully inclusive.
In addition to the website development, we have taken care of hosting and ongoing support, allowing Youth Art Connect to focus on running their events without worrying about technical complexities. Norfolk Lowland Search and Rescue
Norfolk Search and Rescue is a voluntary Lowland Rescue team established in 1999. The team consists of fully trained Search Technicians who bridge the gap between Mountain Rescue Teams and HM Coast Guard. They provide specialised assistance to the Police and emergency services in locating vulnerable missing persons in Norfolk.
The original website was initially created as a one-off design and build by one of our developers prior to joining Brighter IR. Unfortunately, over time, the site’s appearance and performance suffered due to a lack of proper maintenance. Recognizing the exceptional work and vital service provided by NORLSAR, Brighter IR offered to take over the site, acknowledging the need for its revitalization. Our developer approached NORLSAR, proposing to enhance the website by integrating our performance-enhancing systems and providing complimentary technical support.
To begin the process, we made a copy of the site’s theme and database, transferring them to our robust and reliable web servers. By eliminating outdated and ineffective plug-ins, updating the theme’s code, and utilizing our asset-hosting services, we significantly improved the site’s performance.
This revamped website now proudly resides in our portfolio of WordPress sites, which undergo meticulous maintenance, regular updates, and stringent security measures as part of our daily operational procedures.
