The brief

GlobalData came to us when they needed a dedicated investor relations space for their business. We needed to evolve the former pages into a purpose built website which investors could easily navigate to quickly find what they needed.

We needed to keep the branding consistent, however we wanted to modernise the styling of the investor site as they plan to update their current site in the future.

We also set them up with a set of our proprietary IR tools for the new website.

Our approach

Our first step was nailing down the sitemap with the client, making sure everything was clearly laid out for the user. Moving from a small section on a large site to a dedicated site on a subdomain meant that their copy could be split out into the areas that were of most interest.

We worked alongside the client to create a home page and internal elements page that didn’t deviate far from the styling of their main site. We then focussed on the investment story and history pages with further designs. This involved a well considered layout to ensure the information to be easily digestible and the use of stock imagery that seamlessly fitted their brand. We applied subtle animations and their colour palette to highlight key information.

The outcome

Global Data now has a well thought out, designated space for investors!

Splitting the investor section off from their main site has allowed them to go into more depth with their content, and greatly improve the user experience. They’re now on the path to keep expanding and improving their content offering.
