The brief
We launched the first corporate website for Marlowe in 2019 which was soon followed by a second, customer facing website in early 2020. As the company evolved and grew, the website needs changed and it was decided that a single site, serving customers and the investor audience alike would be more efficient and user friendly.
There was also an opportunity to update the look and feel of the website by creating a more current and sophisticated look and feel.A new colour palette was required along with updated typography.
Our approach
Unusually, Marlowe had prepared almost all of the content ahead of the project kick-off which made our work that bit easier and more efficient. For example, we were able to create designs using the actual copy that would appear on the home page and throughout the site.
This allowed both us and the client to determine suitability of the content and in many instances introduce different module types to suit the content such as carousels, tabs and accordions.
With designs complete and signed off, the build process was also relatively efficient given that we already had the copy. There were of course, tweaks and amends to the copy once we shared the staging site with the client but overall the process was smooth and efficient.
The outcome
Marlowe had a hard deadline for launch so each step of the project timeline was monitored closely and adhered to by all involved.
We are delighted with our new site which clearly captures the company’s culture and strategy in an easily navigable, striking and modern way. The Brighter IR team have been a joy to work with.
